I think you should take that right back to the Lucasfilm archives where you found it right now, they may be missing it soon! lol. Seriously, beautiful job dude. Your skills are to be admired and your clients must be very happy campers indeed!.

Thank you sir, that's a mighty big compliment. Funny thing is that one of my Pods actually made it to ILM and several of the model makers including Lorne Peterson that actually worked on the original, did think it was the one from the archives. If that isn't the ultimate compliment I don't know what is.

Thanks again.

That was the SAG signing wasnt it Rolando? I recall you mentioning Lorne making that statement....how cool is that, the guy that built the real deal, passing your off as the prop...id have kneeled before him at that point :lol

Yes Lee, Mr. Peterson emailed me later letting me know he was showing it off at ILM to other model makers and they also thought it was the original from the archives. I thought that was pretty cool!

Damn! That is a great piece of casting and the paint work is impossibley good! Thanks for the info, keep up the stunning work!

Very nice indeed. I'd love to get my hands on one kit!!!

Who made these originally and how complicated would it be to get another run going? :)

I've been getting lots of inquiries on how to obtain a kit of this Escape Pod.

Folks, unfortunately this kit is no longer in production. I have the original master patterns but they are retired for the moment so none are being produced. The secondary market is the only chance of acquiring one if someone decides to sell theirs.

WOW!!, now that is the ultimate compliment and most satisfaction I can think of for a person grinding away at this studio-scale proffession coming from the man himself and some other ILMers to hoot. That's like ,well, getting an academy award dude. I for one look forward to many more of your projects and hope mine will look half as good!.
Regards:lol
