So my little brother came out to hang with me for a week. Like me, he is into props and loves Aliens. So on night one, we start going through bins in the garage looking at various props and toys when he comes across some Matsou shrouds. 'Hey, are these for a Pulse Rifle?' We kept digging through boxes marked USCM and found enough parts to make a PR. I said its your vacation what do you want to do? 'Build a Pulse Rifle with my brother!' So we did the best we could with left over parts. Upper Thompson is airsoft. Lower Thompson is from a Monster in Motion resin PR kit. Grenade launcher is left over HCG. Barrel shroud, barrel triangle and shoulder stock are SD Studios with a set of Matsou shrouds. The PR on the top is my first set of leftovers from my all metal live fire PR. The one ont he bottom is the one we built over the last 3 days. Not perfect, but it racks, trigger moves, shoulder stock retracts/extends, removable mag and counter lights up. Not bad for pieced together parts spanning two decades. But best of all was how much fun we had spending time together.
