I noticed gloss clear coat was recommended but I didn't see that in the video.

Is it really gloss that is suggested?

I believe that is just for coating the grey paint on the lower rail to give it that ‘ABS plastic’ kind of sheen

Only is you are using the tamiya paints starkiller recommends
