This saber was made by the same guy who made me this http://www.rpf.invisionzone.com/index.php?...04127&hl=obiwan

its a hollow handled saber with a 36 inch texalium stunt blade...... VERY lightweight...... REALLY fast in hand...

Did the movie stunt have that indentation below the rabbit ears?

if it did i never saw it... very interesting.

Not bad, but methinks it's a bit off. Here are a couple renders I've made while attempting to replicate this saber:

well ok.

The guy that made this saber for me had direct access to the screen used props.
i Feel what he did he was close....... not perfect, but for the price, im not trying to say it is

i think even the renders are off, the grips part seems to be smaller than the clamp.

wonder what the purpose of the smaller neck was?

twirlabillity? :p

Here's another shot...
I think it's pretty darn close...

Next, I think I'll make one of those Obi stunts...

I forgot to update this thread...
I'm now the proud owner of this saber.

Of course I had to tear it apart...and "made a few special modifications myself"...
Wait till you see what I've done.

For the record, the dimensions are correct and very similar to it's MR "hero" counterpart...and now the length matches too...it was about 3/4 inch short.

I raised the ears up in line with the inner emitter ring and am redoing the grips Thinner, longer and squatter.

I love this one and the balance is PERFECT...
Now I know what a REAL lightsaber feels like. Unlike any EL or FX saber, where you dare not move the blade too quickly...the lightness of this is amazing. The precision of the blade...you could fence with this sucker.

I'm very happy with it,
Thanks David.

Sporak.
it was a pleasure doing business with you and im glad you like the saber.

I hope it brings you many years of joy..

Cougar, i think you missed something along the way... :)

I didn't Make the saber...David had it made by someone...I just bought it...
It was a one of a kind...
All I did was modify it a little.
