Aliens floor tile ???

I just happened to run across this thread today. Earlier this year I had a thought to use a Creality 500mm x 500mm printer to make a SW / Alien pallet in 4 sections, that would be just under 39" on the long side as the floor of a display for a very large alien queen.

I was a surprised I was unable to find files for the pallet though.

But, I knew somebody that had worked on drawings. He had never finished them, but with my needs, he did.

We ended up not making the large pallets, but I did run a test on my Prusa to validate the files. 4 sections for the top and 6 sections for the bottom.

Posting for comments.

Looks nice! How many hours to print all that out?

Largest entire pallet I printed is 6th scale.

I don't recall but I think it was in the 22 hour range for those pieces. The top sections were about 4 hours each x 4, and the bottoms were over 8 and I think I did them in 1 print. A long time for sure.

I took inspiration from the images in this thread to create my own version of the floor tile in Fusion 360. I sized it in Ultimaker Cura to the NECA Ripley and Big Chap so I can have them face each other in my IKEA Detolf cabinet next to other ALIEN props. The tiles are about 6.5 mm thick and printed in gray PLA on an Creality Ender 3 Pro which I purchased a few weeks ago. I've printed 4 which will fit on the shelf with the 2 figures.

Ooh, nice. Would you care to share the Fusion model?

Thanks for sharing! Great work.
You're welcome. I've been working with Fusion 360 for a few years now. My ultimate goal has been to model and print out props from my favorite movies and TV shows. In that time, I've modeled a bunch of stuff that I plan to print on a resin printer, paint and maybe add electronics. The floor tile was something I could create, print and place with the ALIEN NECA figures I've collected.
