I have also paid in full and I am getting a little uncomfortable now.. I understand that this is a monster to create and that it is done in spare time... but a little more comms would be good...

Sorry to hear you guys are so unhappy. I do my best in this as indeed it's all done in the sparetime.
If there's not really anything to report, i tend to not report. Probably my mistake. I'm still here, there's no blackout, i do post to let you know i'm here, and if so its at least once a week, week-and-a-half to tell what's the deal, projectwise or personal.
Progress is slow due to a number of reasons, but there is progress. I feel the reasons don't matter anymore, as i'm starting to get the feeling people think it's bull**** reasons anyway.
Anyhow, onwards.

This is what i'm offering. Give me until the end of the month to wrap this whole thing up and be done with it. If not then i'll issue refunds to those that want one. And i'm saying it here in the open so that all know it. There's quite a few $ involved in the production of this thing. Believe me when i say the kits are nearly being made at cost and then some, so i have absolutely no reason to give up, and every reason to finish this and move on.

Wow! I always try to keep an eye on this thread but have not checked it out in a while.....This kit is gonna be ABSOLUTLY BLOODY AWESOME!!! and I only wish that I could afford to order one! One of the coolest vehicles ever seen in a Sci Fi brought to life by an INCREDIBLY talented artist!
It's such a shame that things are going a bit pear shaped at this late stage when it seems so clode to completion..... people who have already splashed out on this are naturally growing impatient and expect more progress reports.....even if there is nothing to report I think it would be wise to at least report something!!!...just to keep people off your back.
I really hope that everyone ends up happy....Wasilli....keep at it and don't be disheartened...what did you expect when money is involved? and everyone else getting jumpy....I really don't blame you but I think if you hang in there you're gonna end up with one HELL of a collectors piece!!!!

Keith and I agree! You have taken pre payment for 5 kits. I sent you a pm and have not heard back from you. Please do not disreguard me. that will be the quickest way to disenfranchise your customer base with the cold shoulder. (been there trust me on that one!)
The more I look at the pictures that are posted the more excited I get. I dont want a refund either but know we just want regular updates.
Word has it your behind on TINTIN Rocket orders..... is there truth to that rumor? How is that project effecting the delivery of this one?
Let us know.. if end of August is a resonable delivery time line..

I replied to your PM on the same day with a post for all to see. I figured you would be reading all the posts in this thread anyway, but thanx for the headsup. Lesson learned.
Btw, question for you. That one casting i saw of your Ywing cockpit, you mentioned no shrink resin. What brand and type are/were you using, if you will allow me to ask ?
This week i received the replacement shipment of the remaining etchings for the rest of the run. I'm all stocked up now.
Mostly meshes for the engine service hatch on the left side.
And the meshes for the rear. A seperate and a tad thinner brass than the one above to accomplish the desired result.
More later today.

Wasili, that really is freakin' spectacular. The brass looks ridiculously gorgeous. On the offchance you feel like doing more Aliens stuff, I'm happy enough with a Halcyon APC but would love a 1/35 Dropship to go with it, hint hint.

I think Steve and team were working on a 1/32 dropship (rework of the older kit from a few years back), so probably he would finish one sooner than me.

The NO-Shrink resin i use for mold masters is BJB TC-1630 Its great for replicating master patterns for use in molding... not so good for production of parts!
There is a 1/32 complete Aliens Dropship in the works and were in the final stages of all the patterns for molding... but thats another thread!
