"Alien" Head Finally Finished!

I've been trying to finish up a bunch of projects I've had by the wayside for a while. This particular one was started more than two and a half years ago, set aside at various times for other projects that had to take the forefront. Today, I finished the base for my Alien head, having finished the head just a couple weeks ago. Here it is.

About three feet long, translucent dome with the human skull and 'chicken bone' ridge, full tendons for the jaw, acrylic rods for support on a black lacquered base.

Nice.
Gotta closeup of the jaw work?

I'll try to get better shots another day, right now I'm working with some pretty poor lighting.

Gorgeous.
I know what ya mean, i've had a Terminator endoskull kit for about 7 years now and i'm just now finding the time to finish it.

My only critique would be...........more pics:) Can't get enough.

Sweet.

Now to make the mouth and tongue moveable, and hook it up to your doorbell so when the pizza guy comes... :eek

SWEET. More pics, definately. I rather like the 'clean' jaw -- no fake saliva - usually looks really fake. NICE job.

ps I'd like to see a pic of the underside.

Very very nice job... I need to finish mine up now. Good motivator. That is the best paint work I've seen on one. It certainly gives me something to shoot for. :)

That camera nad the lighting really doesnt do it any justice... that is by far the nicest one I have seen here at the RPF. Except for one of those life size queen busts that pop up evey now and then...

The lighting sucked, actually. No natural light and only a few 40 watt bulbs. I'll get better pictures soon. :)
