Ha ha ha. I swear I've seen that before, but I can't remember in what movie

Is that you and Michael Biehn?
I was at an event where Veronica Cartwright was the guest of honor... probably 2009? I do not believe she was available for autographs, however...
And we are gonna get a build log of your flamethrower, too, right?

Cool!
I honestly don't know how often she does them... IIRC, it was the 30 anniversary of Alien, and there was a screening, and she went up on stage and gave a very brief recounting.... I haven't been to a con in a while.... That particular one was held in the middle of the US, not near a big city like LA or New York, but It's sort of equidistant from everyone. You may have to take the train into London for bigger celebrities.
I do have a few photos, mostly irrelevant (this particular con is a SF scale modeling con, mostly, but there are some excellent guests on occasion)...

I still need to paint over the Red and Blue stripes on the trainers, and try to glue the extra sole bit on the bottoms (Ripley's had an extra vibram type sole glued to the bottom of her trainers) I haven't worked out how I'm going to do that just yet.
Once all that is finished, I'm going to start on that crew shirt build... ;-)
there are a couple more snaps that I took this morning that might help you...

Let me know if you need some more. I'll take some shots of the unrolled cuffs for you, and see if I can get some shots of the inner zippers too.
I dunno what the cuts near the waist are for... they are only on that side, and look as if they are pass throughs for hoses or other flight related gear. If I don't wear a long enough vest underneath you could spy my knickers through them!![]()
I've seen that in person, at the Propstore London auction last year, and it's amazingly crude!WHAT'S A COSTUME WITHOUT ITS PROP?!
So, without further ado, I present to you photographs of how I built my certainly-not-screen-accurate-but-I-think-it-looks-the-part flamethrower, built mainly from EVA foam, a colossal amount of hot glue and a preexisting plastic toy gun my brother no longer wanted! Definitely will not be writing a tutorial on this because it's so shoddy but I thought I'd share for fun hahahaha maybe it could act as a guide for the most basic flamethrower out there looool

For some reason I'm not so surprised? I suppose it probably needs to look like that considering Parker knocked it up within twenty minutes... Well, that's put me more at ease with my flamethrower!![]()
Here are a few more pics of the areas you requested. Sorry a couple of them are blurred slightly. My phone can't decide if it wants to focus or not apparently.

The inner zips follow the inseam exactly, and reach from crotch to hem.

There is a secondary short zip toward the front of the leg, against the lower pockets.

The wrist cuffs.

And then those weird side cuts:

I'll have to dig a bit to see what these are for, but I may just try to pull some material from inside someplace to cover over these on the interior.
Thank you thank you thank you! It's interesting to see that even the wrist cuffs have extra material to help make them wider! I would have never though that! I also only just noticed that at the back, there are in fact 5 rows of loops, rather than the often shown 3! Great that you've opened up the back for us!
Covering it shouldn't be a problem, provided that it's the same material as you say
This might give you an idea of what it could be because it turns out, someone had already posted some fairly close up photos of a G-4A, which is quite similar! A few people are also comparing the ones they own too. I'm a little gutted I've found that thread so late on, as it would have been an invaluable help to how I went about transforming my jumpsuit! Oh well!
