Alien: Earth TV Series

That latest trailer has me both excited and slightly terrified with that Bug eye creature melting over your face and apparently it becomes one with the host controlling the body!..

I thought a nice follow up film would be a grown Newt leading a specialist team that investigates and deals with dangerous life forms (not just Xenomorphs) which the ever expanding colonies encounter- with Hicks as the overall commander of the entire group of teams.
Ripley would be happily living with her cat and not continually being in the middle of things...

Too bad they killed Newt in Alien 3.

I actually forgot that I saw the two Alien vs Predator movies. Some thoughts:

Alien vs Predator - I watched once. I was looking forward to it because I have the old Alien vs Predator graphic novel and thought it was pretty good but I read it when I was young. A few weeks or months ago, the movie was on TV and I put it on my list to re-watch to maybe own because I guess I forgot that Lance Henriksen is in it. I know he's in Alien 3 as well. But that was a surprise cameo. Plus, I kind of want to own another movie with Sanaa Lathan and I think this is the only action movie she's in. She was really good in a modern noir set in the Florida Keys called Out of Time.

Alien vs Predator 2 - Another one I only watched once. I remember many parts of the movie were really dark with the lighting for some reason. I wanted the movie to be good as I think a Eurasian actress from the 24 TV show is in it. But I thought the movie was terrible. I assumed it would be a true sequel to the first one but I don't think it was. I only remember the pool scene with a blonde actress and her sadly not surviving a hospital scene by getting thrown into a wall by the Predator's spear or the disc weapon.

As a side note, I would recommend Galaxy of Terror to those who haven't seen it. There are some wild scenes in the movie. I think I posted about it around here before. James Cameron worked on it and a few surprise actors are also in the movie. Some might say it's a bit rough. But it's a horror b movie and I think better than Alien 3, 4, Covenant, and both Alien vs Predator movies. But I think that Planet of the Vampires is better as well than that group of Alien movies.
