First of all, thanks for all the interest! It's great to see people are interested in my stuff.
Okay, so the new D-rings arrived today. They are less thick than all the other D-rings that I have tried so far, and I like the look of them. I went through a lot of screenshots, and I think the D-ring on the actual prop had a wire-thickness of 2 mm (0,07") or slightly more (They look really thin on the WIRED photos and when the saber is sticking out of the snow). I'm using D-rings that are exactly 2 mm (0,07") thick, because that is as close as I'm going to get... Shopping for D-rings is exhausting!
This thread is aaaalmost ready to turn into an actual run now.
Because this is my very first project run, I want to make sure I can deliver a finished product... That's why I decided to go ahead with production before asking for any money. It should be about three more weeks before I receive the first kobolds from the factory. I hope you guys can wait a little longer.

Just received the latest pictures of the now finished kobolds!
I expect to receive them in a few days and will start the assembly. The wait is almost over!
