AAV Drop Ship

Haha! Don't doubt me! I just might suggest you put a sleeping soldier in the turret pit! ...Oh crap. ...Just did.
Restarting counting seconds attempting to be a good boy!

Where's an angel emoji when you need one?

A surveillance camera display is a great idea! Complete with early target designators and selection by helmet link before exiting the vehicle!

Thanks. It will take a little while but redesign and build some.

:devil:Sadly no, My fear mongering Coworkers were completely wrong. Despite them calling me a guinea pig and saying it’ll kill me etc etc. I am happy to report I have had no significant symptoms from the Pfizer vaccine whatsoever.

my days are always busy but I come here to relax and marvel at other people’s mastery. I wish I could devote time and imagination to my own scratch built project but for now I am slowly finishing my kit model and dreaming of my future lightsaber design.
Good to hear you are well and doing your best. Here we have the situation but not that critical like your side. I'm hoping you get the sufficient vaccine as much as you need. We can wait.

Go ahead put up your ongoing kid build. And the dreaming of and planning for the next model is another joy of model build.

You should teach young children at a local school or weekend club your fantastic skills . You have so much talent to give and the younger generation would learn so much from you and keep building models from scratch for many more years, you don’t see many people do what you do, it’s a dying art and a skill people don’t really learn anymore with all the digital processes out there.
Katsu-san you are my all time favourite scratch model builder I would never tire of watching

Thank you very much for the kind words, Bengrim-san. As you said, in the era of easy to possess everything you want, maybe very few people want to build something you want by handcrafting. But still, some of us try to handcraft something very own. Woodworking, Sewing, Painting, and cooking. When my skill would be good enough, it may be good to tell somebody how to do this. Maybe I can do something useful to the other people and see another new idea of the build.

Here a little progress.
Making some tactical display screens.
Nothing difficult but time-consuming.

Bit retro taste but I thought it fits this model.

Thanks for looking,

katsu

I love it, retro or not!

Heard there was an earthquake over there. Hopefully you and your family are safe
Thanks for the kind thought for us.
We were about to sleep and heard a sudden growling of the ground. I thought it gonna be a big one. Our cat was running scared out. But the quake itself was not so serious. That was mid-scale here. The epicenter was offshore of Fukushima150 miles north away from us. That was one of the aftershocks of the 'Fukushima''s just a decade ago we were expecting and afraid of. Very fortunately, we are OK and nothing damaged and broken. The situation of the Fukushima Pref is unsure at this moment but seems no one died so far.

Thank you,

Katsu

Wow, amazing work, just as I remembered !

I've been out of the game for quite a while. Just built a house and have many projects to complete.

You've inspired me to hurry up and build out my studio so I can get back in !

Hopefully, I'll be posting in the next few months.

Great work !

Wow, wow, Pcoz-san, long time no see! And good to hear you are well.
Thank you very much for stopping by!
Congratulations on your new house! That's one of the best moments of life. Buy a new car, Married to a loving partner, having kids, and living in a new house! Whatever in the order they came!
And you still have many pleasant projects on your list!
Fully enjoy the moment and when you are ready to build, we will be waiting here!

"Outstanding." - Corporal Dwayne Hicks, US Colonial Marines.

I was very glad to hear that the earthquake wasn't any worse.

:D Thank you so much, Tom-san.

Whenever I heard something about the 'Aliens' I can't help watch that movie again. I can't remember how many times have I seen it though.

Thank you for your heartful thought for us.
To live in this shaking land, we gave up worrying about when will it come. Instead, we are accepting the fact that it will come for sure. So we get prepared for it. In fact, The scary thing is not about shaking. We are used to it already. Most of the Japanese houses will endure huge shaking. Fire and tsunami, that is scary things.

perhaps you need a tactical earthquake display as well, just to be sure... nice work and glad all is good (y)

Ha, ha, Chuffy-san, here in Japan, most of us have an earthquake warning system in our cell phones. It warns us just before the quake. Ahh, supposed to warn 'BEFORE' the quake to get us prepared. But it always warns at the same time when it starts shaking, with a huge hugha, hugha sound. That always makes us go panic-stricken! Great system!

A little progress,

Making lights,

I wanted to make the lightboxes and the transparent facets of those light arrays on both sides fit on a flat surface.
It took very complicated and bothering work. However, when those works have done well, It always makes me feel one of the essential joy of the scratch building. I guess you understand me.

Thanks for looking,

katsu

How terrifying!

On the other hand, the lighting looks great! Nicely designed
