Love it Katsu-san As NakedMoleRat said: "you gave them personalities!" There's an aspect of "Art Naïf" into those soldier figurines that is organic and "human". It makes your project that much special, because you've opted, not by buying plastic figurines and transforming those, but by giving each a unique pose, face, etc...very cool in my book

Absolutely top notch work Katsu-san! Doesn't have to look life like to capture life beautifully. The personalities portrayed and the multitude of stories implied behind each character makes this a favorite in my eyes. Very well executed making a very cool and interesting display.

The words you presented to me are really made me feel rewarded. Since I am a very novice at making the figure, that was really tough work and still, I am thinking that there is enough room to make it yet better. But for now, I'm so happy and I thank you so much.

Thank you very much, Hagoth-san. As you mentioned about the story behind them, that was the key of these figures for me. The scene just 2 minutes before the drop and disembarking. A mish-mash of tension and fear and bravery, that what I wanted to display.

Bad-ass? You are right! I had been sitting on my cheap chair in my shack for more than 6 hours every day. Long enough to make my ass so bad for sure.


Today, I fix the soldier's cradles on the chassis.
Looks like it works as I wanted.
Then started to build the body shell.
I have to make the interior and plant some LED lights in there.

If I had enough space to display, I wanted to make the figures of the actions in the combat, though.

I was trying to build the turret pit with lighting.
I'm afraid that it may not fit this vehicle. It's too fancy, isn't it?
Maybe I should reconsider this... Hummm.

I think the turret pit lighting idea could work or at least should be explored. It is on the inside where lighting would be appropriate but maybe make it more subtle or dim and use a color other than white. Something like orange or green maybe? Just a thought since you questioned it.

At any rate I'm going to be a good boy and sit back and watch your creative mind turn pieces of aluminum and acrylic into something amazing.

Sadly no, My fear mongering Coworkers were completely wrong. Despite them calling me a guinea pig and saying it’ll kill me etc etc. I am happy to report I have had no significant symptoms from the Pfizer vaccine whatsoever.

my days are always busy but I come here to relax and marvel at other people’s mastery. I wish I could devote time and imagination to my own scratch built project but for now I am slowly finishing my kit model and dreaming of my future lightsaber design.
