AAV Drop Ship

There are two kinds of people in the world: cat people, and everyone else.

Meow!

Meah!! :D

Here's a recent progress.

Continuing to detailing up the landing gear bay.

Thank you so much, Tom-san!
I couldn't find my eyeglasses for build Yesterday, I had to use another one so there are some rough part here and there.

Having started at the bottom and scrolling up, I first came across the cat on the tower and though, it looks like it is having fun

Then I saw what I thought might have been a reference pictures for landing gears only to realize that was the gears you were building painted up!

That is very impressive and looks like it came right out of a working planes gear bay

Thank you so much, Analyzer-san! That's a very pleasant and rewarding comment for me!

Yay, hes playing on the tower. Cats can be so silly.

You know, curiosity kills even a cat. :D

I've tried to make a external fuselage out of a cardboard to see how it's going to look.
Nosed fuselage has a weapon fairing on both sides which is also fairing the front face of the armored vehicles.

I've just added some parts and decals here.

I think the tire should be a bit more larger.

I know this part would be hardly visible when it's completed. But that was fun to build.

Using a dummy canopy.

The aft fuselage would have to be extended an inch or two.
Wing pivot fairing should be trimmed a bit to fit the nose upper fuselage . Then it would be an ideal proportion.

Still, long way to go.
Thanks for your support!

Hey Katsu-san, agree about the tire/s needing to be larger when compared to the struts.
Also, the canopy seemed more interesting with the ‘bubbled’ wooden shape former ( reminiscent of drone craft ), than the ‘dummy canopy’ in situ ( generic ) in your latest post.

p.s. I’m starting to devolve into the ‘ dark/bad/keeping you on your toes ‘ side again ! Your work is wonderful otherwise ! :p .....

The tire to strut ratio looks fine by itself, but when seen under the aircraft, I can see why you might question if it looks a bit small.

But then again, looking at pics of real life planes, they vary. Some have very small tires compared to the aircraft while, others look larger

If taking off vertically, maybe the tires size may not matter as much compared to a normal jet?

like the Osprey for example. The front tire does look rather small

Here's an another thing to keep my life restless.

Huum...Osprey's gear is really small for sure.
OK, I will make another larger tire to see how it look.
It's only a few minutes work for me, perhaps.:)p)

Thanks,

katsu

Seriously, those close up picture you would think you were looking at a real full-sized aircraft.

Landing gear is looking WOW. As for tire size, usually the back landing gear bears the brunt of the forces/weight of the landing, hence the bigger tires at the back. Front doesn't have to be that big: less stress since the speed of the plane is already reduced. Keep up the great work Katsu-San :notworthy: :notworthy:
