ROFL....You guys are killing me here. I should have said "sport's jersey's autographed by*insert sports figure you know*"He changed his name ?
I was in Lutton last month and was waiting for passengers. I grabbed the local paper and read the latest on the AA case. I started to share the article with the the rest of the crew and I noticed the 'and we care why....." look.
That really is the proper response regarding the situtaion. With ALL of the absolutely monumental problems and issues facing the world today, the fact that this lawsuit has taken up as much time, consideration and resources as it has is actually a little mind blowing to me. The whole thing is really quite silly. Even as fan, the only thoughts I've ever had in regard to this whole thing is, "who cares?" It's a friggin' stormtroooper helmet. It looks cool, yes. All the rest...nobody should really care. We've all got much more serious things to ponder than who did or did not make, or recast, or sketch, design, or not design, or hold a stormtrooper helmet. I know this is a prop site. But this has gone on for way too long and consumed way too much time.
I just want to know what the outcome of the case is and have only glossed over most everything else.
There is a magazine called Floor Covering Weekly. A magazine... about floor coverings... which is apparently such a dynamic industry that they need to come out with a new magazine once a week just to keep up with all the newest developments. I'll bet the floor covering people are equally concerned with matters relative to their business, which are of no global import, either.
As for which side to root for, you root for LFL, which has demonstrated a willingness to look the other way and let us do our thing for the most part - so long as we don't get too obnoxious about the whole thing, like AA did. So screw him. There has always been a delicate truce in effect, and he broke it. If any of us opened a full-on website and started selling stormtrooper helmets, "original moulds" or not, LFL would bring the hammer down. That's the deal. Stay under the radar, and they'll pretend they didn't notice. The dude appears to have mental problems, anyway.

Things in the world that not a single one of us here can do anything about, so we b**ch and moan about things that we care about, related to the community we are part of.Well it is a multi-billion dollar corporation dealing with the entertainment industry...films, TV, toys, DVD, etc.....all big industries and the LFL empire really exists because of the characters in the original movie. So from a legal, copyright, industry standpoint it's significant I would think. But ya there are definitely more important things going on in the world today...much more important.
Preach it, brother! I'll take one of those pitchforks with ya!Right... if you care so much about the world... go save it and leave us nuts to the arguing of props! :lol
Hey... come on... that was funny... come on... put those pitch-forks away... hey... that hurt! :eek
