AA case begins

Well with Brian's more then gracious input and contributions to what is happening in the court hearing, we now have a name for the artist who sculpted the trooper helmet it was done by Liz Moore...

And from the picture(s) of the clay sculpt Liz Moore did, IMO the nail in the coffin has been set... AA's sculpting/changes if any was minimal at best...

Warm up the Humble Pie and Crow, someone has been fibbing...

Brian did the armor and Liz did the helmet, leaving AA as the vac former just like LFL has stated all along...

Really Liz Moore ? wow that's surprising as he said before Liz didn't do it.
He explains why in that thread as well.

Just to clarify who sculpted the original clay helmet for the Stormtrooper as in photo. Liz Moore sculpted the helmet - she did not do it at Elstree studios. At the time although I saw the helmet outside the sculpting studio I was curious who had done it but not curious enough to find out.

In later years when asked if Liz had sculpted it I answered no because it wasn't done at the studios. As Ainsworth then claimed to have sculpted it I had no reason to doubt him. As a result of the pending court case I started to ask people who were there at the time.

When Liz Moore left Star Wars at the end of January/early February to be with her boyfriend John Richardson (who was working on a film in Holland) he set up a studio for her. She sculpted the Stormtrooper helmet there and brought it back to Elstree. It was only speaking to John who is also working on Harry Potter that this was brought to light.

John made a statement and testified in court as Liz could not speak for herself and felt it was important that she was credited for the work she had done.

He explained that as well, she did it off site at her studio and then it appeared on site, so Brian didn't know she was the one responsible until he heard additional testimony...

As per Brian Muir at Prop Den...

Yeah i know Brian said some time ago he worked on the armour, he said exactly that he did some sculpting on the armour, he never said he sculpted the entire suit though or whether his sculpt was changed later by AA.
Just trying to keep to the facts of the matter rather than the usual AA hating we all know nobody likes him by now i'm just interested in the case.

Either way he still hasn't stated any detail on what he sculpted or if it was later changed in any way but like i said earlier i believed his testimony about what he did would most likely be LFL's strongest hand.

Who sculpted that helmet then does anybody know ?

Well I didn't like him before - now I hate him.

AA is a liar and a thief.

And with that any and all sympathy for this situation and even any respect I had for his involvement with the trooper is gone...
It's kinda funny, in a sad way. He could have kept quiet for years, selling underground, and people would *possibly* not have even batted an eyelash. I said it many times, his actions spoke volumes about his character. If you lie about little things, like the Imperial symbol, helmet stands made by MR and armor you NEVER sculpted, lying about robbing the work of another is just one more little stretch.

He'd best get to making some serious ponds now.

Wow. That is a huge revelation for propdom and AA. It's pretty clear that he's screwed big time now. Damn shame really, if he had been forthcoming from the start and maybe worked with LFL this might have been a very, very different story.

Well now it will be interesting to see how the whole case settles out and if anything more comes to light.

So what's the going rate for an AA helmet now? lol!
Somewhere in the Bear Stearns area, maybe?

I honestly don't see these depreciating as much as people will think. They are a good enough looking helmet, even though they are not original by any stretches.
