A Whole Slew Of Bio Design Await Your Eyes.

Decided it was time to design a Bio that looked a little more damaged than the others and now that I have some clay, I am torn between which one I want to attempt for my first sculpt. I may just have to post a poll on it... (not until later or this weekend though).

I hope you all like this one. I am fond of it and really like how it turned out.

Enjoy...

Your designs are great bro! First post has to be one of my favorites. Keep up the great work!

Thought I would throw a side perspective view on the last one out there. Had a little trouble with the front mouth plate area... but I think I got it.

Well... it's not full sized, but it is as close to 1/6 as I could try to make it.

Decided to start small and try my hand...again (tried before a while back and got frustrated).

This is what I have after about 1:15 hours.

I am just going with it right now.

Nice stuff! glad to see you make the transition from paper to clay! I'm sure plenty of awesomeness is to come!

Nice start!
So what did you end up naming that bio?
:)
Which one was that CK?

Here is a little progress shot of my sculpt. Any recommendations, hints, corrective constructive criticism is welcome.

Sorry it's so dark of a pic too.

Not yet. I want to try to take it in the direction of my design with the red and black spots I have posted on one of these pages.

Well, the sculpting thing isn't coming along to great these days. I got pretty frustrated with it and decided to give it a rest until I find a good amount of time and quite area. My children are all over me when I try to so it makes it difficult to concentrate (even when I give them their own clay to play with).

I decided to do another Bio design. Here it is... hope you like it... comment, vomit, whatever...

Here is another Bio I will simply call 'The Devolver'. Trying to keep to basic design again with a twist.

Like if you like... whatev.

You just described my everyday life my friend. Kids are kids, mine's the same way.

Just keep attacking that sculpt man. Don't give in bud. I dont know how many times I wanted to stop during my bio and falcon. CPR man, Consistence and Presistance breaks all Resistance.

My suggestion on the sculpt is maybe start building up the neck by bulking up the back of the neck/base of the skull area a little and blend it up to the crown. It would help with the over all shape of the head and give you a better idea of where the mandibles need to go and what needs to be done on other areas.

Oh yeah the designs are great! Keep em coming man! (y)

Just noticed your thread reyals , i have a couple points for you.Are you on the couch? If so it will not work as well as on the kitchen table, and try to get a shoe box or somethibg to bring the scuplt close to your face.
In 1/6 you really have to keep it close
I would go with scupley firm only due to the thinness of the bio it will not be as easy to smudge.
And heres the biggy if i was on this project, i would totally create the bio without the head.Create the bio first and then the detail, even if it means holding it in your hands without the stick to put it on.
And for fun get some of your 1/6 bios and keep them close to compare back and forth back and forth.

This may not help its what zuckuss would do

Hey... thank you guys for the support and encouragement. It is highly appreciated. I do plan on working some more on this piece, but really want to focus most of my attention to getting an armature built so I can get my Bio created. I am thinking of using A LOT of aluminum foil as the base for it and just shaping it into the approximate size I have seen others use on here...

Anyway... here is another Bio I was working on. This one kind of strays but I like it none the less and I hope you all do too.
