A single thread for FONT questions?

I was just wondering how folks would feel about having a single thread for all of the FONT questions that people have. I've seen many different threads for them, and wonderd if it might be more efficient/helpful to have all the questions and answers in a single thread instead of spread out over a dozen or more.

What do you think?

You're right, there have been several inquiries lately from members asking for help identifying fonts. Believe it or not, there are a lot of people who are "font enthusiests"-- enough so much that they have their own forum out on the web.

Quote:
"Let the world’s font enthusiasts identify the fonts in your image, and help others with theirs! Upload your image here."

Taken from their forum site here: http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/

I've never had a need before, so I've never used them and cannot endorse them from personal experience, but would suggest using their forum (link above) or their main site at the link below. Good luck!

I've quite a few fonts saved up; I'll be glad to offer any help to anyone that may need it. :)

I've got tons in illustrator but one of the best places is " simply the best free fonts" they have tons that are freebies too. i'm stuck on one right now from a Stooges episode for a label myself

Ooh, I'm totally down for a thread, I thought up a bunch of related questions the other day...

The only site I've gotten fonts off of was Flashkit, but that was 10,000 years ago, totally down for a new source...

Off the top of my head, anyone have a good one thats in the 1950/60s "informational movie" style? Like for the intro cards in those old educational movies?

I suppose when I get home I should post examples...
