Question A Question Regarding Questions...! (answered)

Where do we post questions that have to do with prop-making help/advice? I assumed they'd go in this "Questions and Suggestions" sub-forum, but I noticed that all the threads in here are questions and issues regarding the site itself. Do questions about props, costumes etc. go in their respective sub-forums, or do all questions about anything go here?

If you go to the main forum page http://www.therpf.com, you will see a text description under each forum title. These descriptions give a specific description of what belongs in that forum. The description for the Questions and Suggestions forum is the following:

Have a technical question about the site? Have a suggestion for improving your experience here at the site? Post both here!

So to answer your question... if you have questions about creating a prop, they go in the http://www.therpf.com/replica-movie-props/Replica Movie Props forum, likewise, if it's a question about creating a costume, it belongs in the http://www.therpf.com/replica-movie-costumes/Replica Movie Costumes forum, and so on.

Edit: Montagar beat me to it but I'll leave my post as it might help.

The Q&S section is for forum issues or suggestions for features for the RPF.

Prop Replicas is for building/showcasing replica props

Replica Costumes same as above except focused on costumes.

General Modeling is focused on custom scales of tv/movie prop models like ships, cars, fighters, etc.

Studio Scale is the above except that they are scaled true to the filming miniatures.

Screen Used Props is just that. Actual props used and seen on TV/Movies.

Movie Forum is for discussions on same.

Junkyard and Off-Topic is self explanatory.

In the context of your questions, you would want to post them in the Prop Replicas section.
