74-Z Speeder Bike Build.

BikerScout94, sorry for the slow reply dude, I've been flat out and haven't had any time to jump on here but please accept my apologies. I hate to be that guy who offers help then disappears, so, sorry dude!

So here's what you can do... Open your document in acrobat, press the print button and you will this window...

Then you want to hit the "poster" button and you will see this... Tile scale is your image file. Here it is 100% in size (green) and each page (displayed to the bottom left as two A4's in portrait) has a 0.005 inch overlap for sticking them together (blue)

As you will hopefully be able to see in this image (not sure how easy these will read once posted) is I have changed the image size to 200% with a 0.5 inch overlay. You can see the tiling has changed (bottom left) to 8 A4 pages. Not sure how much you need to increase you size but with these few setting you should be able to sort it out. It may take some trial and error but please let me know how you get on and I'm happy to answer any questions if I haven't been clear. I'm not the best at explaining things but I'm sure we can get there.

Hope this helps man!!

Hey it’s no problem. We all got lives outside the forum. I was busy this weekend anyways. Glad you got back to me. This advice is awesome. I will try this out when I get back home later. This is great having a community here to help me out with this project.

So good news and bad news.

Bad news I couldn’t print the bike blueprints to perfect scale. It would be odd by several inches the way it was layed out.

The advice all does help me. But sometimes the situation doesn’t call for that solution. But I learned something.

Good news. I blew them up onto my old tv screen and traces the whole Damn thing out.
My shoulders are cramping but it is done. And I reconfirmed that my other 3D prints are to scale too using this method.

All this paper on my wall makes me look like a conspiracy theorist haha. Now that stenciling is completed I will soon start resining my 3D pieces.

After what a week of sanding? Yeah maybe a week. I have these few pieces to show for all that work. They are not complete I guess. I have to finish a few more edges. BUT it won’t look like raw 3D printed parts.

I’m not gonna lie this is kicking my butt.
It’s all going to worth it soon I’m sure.

I NEED A FAVOR
Can you all help me or give me advice on how to scale this up so I can print it in adobe acrobat.
I have these two stencils I want to print to scale and use for tracing on to MDF for this bike. The front of the nose tip to the back of the bike itself is a total or 83.5 inches long. Thats my base scale. Can someone tell me how to scale this or do me an amazing favor (and a favor for my garrisons badass 2020 comic con display) and maybe scale these two up really quick? I am at a complete loss and this would be awesome.

That pic from my build. Good luck. Looking fantastic so far.

So I decided to sand and surface finish one big thing because I needed a win. I need to few like I’m getting some where. So I tackled one of the two biggest pieces I have.

I still need to touch up a bunch of small areas so I took a tip from one of favorite YouTube Channels punished props.
I order some 3m spot putty and some sculpting tools.

I’ll have the other one sanded up in another 2-3 days. Then painting and sealing!

After tons of minor filling and sanding I think the front bits are 90% completed.

I think I don’t have that much left but I need to primer everything again so I can see. It’s rainy season again so timing isn’t optimal.

I think I’ll leave some areas less than perfect so it looks worn. This bike isn’t off the factory floor after all.
