In a bid to get threepio finally display ready after about a year, i'm still searching for a proper mannequin to fit him.

Has anyone tried something like this?

I can always experiment order one and if it doesn't fit i can use it for my storm trooper.

FWIW, these work really well for stormtroopers, so I'd guess they'd work well for 3PO:

Yep, I tried that first. sadly the chest plate didn't fit ..
and it was a large one too
