yes I'm curious about this as well. If I get you to do a model for me it would be with the intention of using it for my own run of the item. I wouldn't want you to turn right around and sell the file to someone else so they can do the same. This is a grey area.

I know when I commission anything, 3D models or bust sculpts. I own that piece. The sculptor or modeler can not turn around and sell copies for his or her personal gain. If that's his intention with my Cylon commission, I expect a FULL refund, every penny I paid as this is NOT the way things are done.

Hey, usually it is understood that when I do a model for someone they own the rights etc.. to do their own runs and stuff and I don't use or sell the models in anyway once I hand over the files. The only exception is when someone tells me that, the thing I'm modeling is just to add to their collection etc...and have no interest in doing a run of the item.
So unless you tell me what you want done is for a personal prop, it's understood that you own the rights to the model and can do whatever you want with it after I hand the files over.

Yup, I've messaged you on several threads, basically a mix up in organization and I thought that helmet was for a client I did saying it was a personal prop for their collection and didn't mind if I tried a crack at a run. I wouldn't intentionally try to sell something that I did for a client who had their own intentions of trying to do runs or what have you, sorry for the mix up!

I think it's safe to put these up now, as the client has the run thread up and going now. Just another recent work that I did for a client, there is a run going on for them from my client, check them out.
