WOW, those links have some amazing guns.:thumbsupmany thanks.
Worth every penny... but I would have to pick up a gun, too. And then it would be not very pricey...:rolleyes
Any other (cheaper) options on the gun itself? The crosses and his option to put them on ebony grips for u is very well and would work for me. But I would like to pick up a cheaper gun.

Andy, did you contact Will about them? I know he was selling them for awhile. Is he out of them?

I was in contact with him for a long time. But it doesn't worked for him as I'm overseas. I guess there were some troubles cause he's not accepting paypal or visa, etc. So I couldn't pay for a set....:-(

Joe (grips guy) would probably sell you just the crosses, but the grips have to be custom-fitted to your specific gun.

No argument here, Szyntax; :) the frame colors give it away, as the Pre-War looks to have the blue marbled/case finish...but, at one point a couple of years ago, I seem to remember reading (or was told) that the Gunslinger was the model used by Wade (seems like I read it on the U.S.F.A. site, in fact); and, in some of the promo shots of Crowe/Wade, you can clearly see what appears to be the black ("Antique Patina") frame of the Gunslinger.

I understand from Will Ghormley's website (and others) that the guns were modified from stock, to suit the actors wishes (not to mention that there were several stunt and hero versions used); at one point, Crowe wanted Wade to use 2 pistols, but that option was decided against, as his character was supposed to be an unstoppable bad-ass with only one gun....:cool

They're all really the same pistol (Colt SAA), depends on the finish (and options)

The Gunslinger model has an old, rusty finish. They call it "browning", it's an aged patina.

The Pre War has a Bone Case & Blue finish, including the hammer.

Every pic of the Hand of God I've seen had this finish, it wouldn't be a HoG if it had the Gunslinger finish, at least not an accurate one.

There are lost of pics around of the Screen used guns, go look if you dont believe me.

Dude...I'm not arguing with you about it (and derailing this thread)...I'm just tellin' ya what I read (and, what I thought I saw)....peace to ye, OK?....:)
Rob

For that price ($900), why not get an accurate one done by Joe?

It's OK, not great. The gun looks right but the cross is funky and the grip is supposed to be ebony.
