2020 Buzz Lightyear Build

Back in 2011 I was commissioned to build a Buzz Lightyear suit for our local zoo. I had two weeks to build it and it was my first time working with EVA foam. It turned out pretty good for the time I had. The suit finally fell apart after 8 year of use. The following pictures are from my 2011 build. I will continue to post WIP pics of the 2020 build starting with my cheat template.

Looking really nice. If I may make one suggestion, I think future self you will be thankful to past you if you split the foot into 2 pieces:

It makes walking a whole lot easier. Otherwise, you'll be stuck with the Frankenstein walk while wearing it.

I already wish I had done that. I saw your shoes earlier and forgot to split them. I may still do that.
 
Looks awesome! I always love seeing people take in this costume, here's my version (also done in EVA
