2014 Scarlet Spider build

quick update for today, i finished the belt (minus the red circle in the middle i have a few options for it, andi can't choose though), finished the ankle straps and will be working on putting together the web shooters for my wrists, word to the wise, epoxy and locktite work wonders for this kind of build, with multiple accessories!

----ALSO---
i got a sample picture of my suit, now as i said i wasn't going for a comic look, I'm going for a 'real life' scarlet spider something you would see in the movies or if superheros actually existed. the only thing wrong with it is that the face was wayyyyyyy toooooo dark, almost black i asked the company to redo it it a lighter color (hopefully they will) ill post pictures up in a few minutes.

starting with the easiest, i finished up the ankle pouches, i bought some cheap clearance thin girl belts, cut them up enough for 4 straps that fit my ankles then i used locktite and put the velcrow squares from the helmet and used them to keep the straps in place.

next i finished spraying the web cartridges, and glued them on a normal belt, i had a plain buckle laying around so i just sanded and sprayed it silver to match, when my neodymium magnets come in i will glue them to the belt and glue them to the back of the spider tracers so i can remove them and reuse them if needed.

----ALSO----
heres the sneak preview at the costume, i asked them if they could redo the mask area to make it more red like the (pectoral region/chest area) then they can ship it, WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK, lol this was the part i was most hesitant on, seeing that no one has done a scarlet spider in a hyper realistic/ movie type style. so I'm a bit apprehensive :)

other than that the only main components i need left are making the spider on the hoodie (heat transfer vinyl= SUPER REALISTIC) I'm also thinking about only doing a front one, what do you guys think? then i have to glue the shoes on the suit, and place magnets in the shell and frames!

Dont use Zentai Zentai. They steal designs from THERPF members and sell them as their own. They also take designs sent to them and mass produce those too. It's too late, i suppose, but just letting you know.

damn, i didn't know that, well its too late now, glad its only a red suit and nothing too major like a TASM suit or something.

well on a good note, i finished the belt with the magnets and tracers, and just magnetized the web shooter straps and the suit should be in this week I'm hoping! then i can finish this build up and take pictures!

UPDATE! my suit comes in today!! didn't think the rush shipping would help much with an international order, but it did! amazing! can't wait to do a mini mock up with what i have so far!

ok guys here is a few shots of what i have so far, need to finish one web shooter, attach the under soles, web pack and spider logos. what do you guys think? i personally think its a spot on movie type/real life adaptation.

Wow ! Really great look ! I'm planning to do a costume like yours for next ComicCon/Halloween in my city. You are by far the best costume I saw for Scarlet Spider over there.

One question though. For the lycra morph suit, what made you choose your size ? I mean I don,t want to order one suit that is too large. I want one that will fit perfectly like yours. So did you go for smaller than your actual sizes ?

Though most people on here will disagree because they sometimes rip off designs from others, you can get an awesome customer fit Lycra suit to your exact dimensions from ZentaiZentai.com and they kept my design on file (why people don't like them) so you can ask for my specific all red muscle scarlet spider suit. 2 people ordered it after I designed it with them so feel free to get it from there

Yes I saw the one but I wanted to know how did you choose your dimensions. You mesured them with a tape and ordered the exact size or did you go for a little smaller to make sure it fits well ?

And this is your design that I found it really beautifull.

I'm planning to cut my own spider lens because I have the machine for that. I will also make my pouches and darken a little bit the jacket that I will sew myself with a patron.

I also plan to use your spider tracer idea but built it in Fimo. As for the spider sign, I will also use heat transfer vinyl because my machine cuts this too.

For the web shooters, I'm thinking to ask one of my friend to print them in 3D. Yeah, 3D technolgy is so great.

But I wanted to be sure if I order the suit with my exact dimensions that it will be as thight as the one you wear.
