2012 Toronto Prop Party **JUNE 2nd, 2012**

Loaded up with circuit boards and built props. Ready to roll.

See you all soon! :thumbsup

Brilliant party! Thanks to the organizers - what a great time! What impressed Dan and I the most was how respectful everyone was of everyone's work - and how willing to share techniques and ideas everyone was! We had some amazing discussions and came away thoroughly impressed.

It's re-ignited our previously somewhat dimmed passion for the props. Dan's thinking of electronics - thanks to Gerry for the donation to the raffle! And me? I think I've gotta go sculpt something.

Can't wait for next year! We'll be working on the Borg Queen, and who knows what else!

It was a fantastic outing this year! Congrats Andrew, GREAT job.

Always nice to see familiar faces and even nicer to meet new folks! You guys really brought your A game, it would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to pick a favorite display. :thumbsup

Dave, THANK YOU for the Enterprise model... Enjoy your PADD, I'll just have to make mine better. :D

Awesome time! I think I left the stand to my mannequin at the hotel, did anyone pick it up?

Had a great time meeting everyone. I was finally able to put a face to the names. My hats off to Andrew and his team for putting together a very memorable event. :thumbsup

It was great seeing everyone and chatting with people. Next year we will have to get a bigger room.

FYI I donated the Enterprise model and the SW Maquette.

I will add them once uploaded!

Oh and I wanted to thank Orangeblend and Styrofoam Guy for the awesome raffle prizes I picked up, love them!

Mike, least I could do once I took the PADD.

You do know that since Leisa, Ken, David and I have spoken of it, you HAVE to have the Xmas party again this year, right?

Gerry, great to put a face to the name.

Arduino!!

Let me know if I can help moving forward.

Thanks to everyone who attended. You made it all worth while. For the most part everyone I spoke to enjoyed themselves and had nothing but nice things to say about the event and everyone else. That made me really happy.:)

Everyone's passion for props and the community really shone through and that in itself made the event a success in my mind.

Thanks to the RPF for making this event possible. All who attended were RPF members or family/friends of RPF members which provided a HUGE atmosphere of TRUST. People were leaving their tables to go a mingle without having to worry. That is another credit to the success of the event.

I'll be posting again tomorrow evening as I am tired as heck and there is just so much I'm still processing.

Yes, BTW, Ken and Leisa(Talisen & Jaedena), I have your wooden mannequin stand. It's safe and sound in my garage.

Thanks to those who got some of their pictures up already. I've got lots of pictures and video that I need to start sorting out tomorrow.

Thanks to Alex(Styrofoam_Guy) and Gerry(gmprops) for you great demonstrations. That was a really nice addition to this year's party.

Thanks again everyone, t'was a great time and definitely a memorable event.
Not bad at all for our 2nd year!
(y)thumbsup
