2012 North Texas Prop Party

Wishing I was on my way, got double booked with emergency client project. Hope you all stay dry and have a good time! See you at the next one!

It was nice to meet you, Philip, and all the rest. That was an amazing experience. Sorry we had to jet early, but we made the most of what time we had. Spent as much time upstairs as down! Incredible stuff...

For reference, we had an SDS storm trooper helmet, Indy fedora, satchel and jacket (worn by Jonathan) and an 1851 Colt Navy with belt, holster and serape from The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.

Looking forward to seeing all the pics.

Had a great time meeting everyone and seeing all the great pieces!

Philip, thanks for hosting, and letting everyone experience your amazing collection!

Pics to come soon :)

Wow, thank you so much for the hospitality, and opening your amazing shop and collection to us, Philip! I really enjoyed meeting you and the other RPFers, and had a great time seeing all the awesome props.

Great pics, Kevin!

Great to meet you Brad, and everyone else I talked to about sabers all night.

Phil, thanks so much for hosting, it was an amazing time. Expletives spewed forth the second I rounded the flight of stairs in your collection room....

Once again Philip thank you for hosting such an awesome event. I think I had more fun today then I've ever had before. There was a great sense of community, and the people and prop were really fantastic.

Also huge thumbs up to you and Estil for the food, it was delicious !

My photos from this year are here: 2012 Prop Party album | James-Kenobi-1138 | Fotki.com, photo and video sharing made easy.

And a little video virtual tour, be careful it's kinda 'Blair Witch' style: 2012 Texas Prop Party RPF Virtual Tour - YouTube

I really had a great time today talking props, costumes, Star Wars, and of course lightsabers today- so many good conversations. It was great to put faces with names, make connections and re-connect with everyone.

Everyone brought first-class stuff to look at, so many great collections.
This was my stuff today:

Yes, thank you so much for hosting! I really enjoyed the whole day. So many amazing things to see. That just makes me want to start building and stop trolling (and buying more figures).

THank you Philip for hosting. Amazing as always and fantastic to see everyone again.

Thanks again, Philip, for hosting! I had a great time chatting with friends, new and old, about all manner of collecting and building.

I now have a pocketful of e-mail addresses to go through to start work on some new projects. Fun stuff, and a truly wonderful group of attendees to learn from and share with.

Please tell R2-BQ that he did a stellar job on dinner!

As others have said, thanks again so much to Philip for hosting the party, and to Doc for helping provide the food. Thanks to all those who brought their awesome props to display; sorry my contribution couldn't make it. Thanks to Richie and Cliff for FINALLY making it to another party, and to everyone that help make my GF feel welcomed. To Funky, sorry you were so abused last night, she's wittty ... try walking in my shoes and getting it every day. ;)

I didn't take a lot of pics, but definitely wanted to thank Funky for the gift he gave us (I'll refrain from making the comment I said last night). ;) This was an awesome bottle, whose contents somehow mysteriously vanished...
