Hi all. Noob here on the RPF but been doing props here and there the last couple of years.
A couple of years ago I managed to buy a lighted acrylic tube with a bubbler device from a Spirit store at the end of the season. It gets filled with water, bubbles and lights up. Used it as is for our annual Halloween party last year but Alien:Romulus got me thinking of transforming it into a facehugger stasis tube instead. I already bought the NECA facehugger just to have but because it is a foam inside, I didn’t want to ruin it by submerging it, even for one night during the party. I purchased a vinyl 1:1 kit that I want to paint and submerge but not sure what paints I should use to detail and weather this kit. I think the vinyl itself will be fine but the paint is my concern.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!!
