Also had a great time, it was great getting the Jeep out on the highway...but man that thing is not built for long haul drives.

Sadly my SPAS Shotgun got broken....people were taking it away for photo's so I'll need to replace that.

But all in all a great day. Thanks Phil for hosting, it was great seeing prop people old and new (by old I mean we've met before).
 
Philip, thank you again for hosting such wonderful prop parties. They're always a blast.
It was great seeing everyone again, meeting some new people and putting some faces to people I've known here for years.
James, Evan, and Armando, it was great talking with you guys again. Armando, thanks for the Chili. It didn't dissapoint! And Brad, it was great to finally meet you.

I'm always amazed at the awesome skill and talent that everyone brings to these parties. Hopefully my Ironman will finally be complete for next years party... Heck my Fett might actually be done! :thumbsup
 
I just got back into LA. I had an absolute blast. Eveyone could not have been nicer. It was so nice to put a face to the names and online personas.

Phillip - Thank you once again for having me come out there. I had an amazing time. I hope to make it back out there again next year.

Armando - It was so nice getting to know you and Kerri. You are truly a great guy and I wish you and your family all the best! LOVED that chili and so did my hotel room toilet! :eek

Brenton - It was a lot of fun hanging with you most of the night. I will try to keep the prop requests to a minimum.

Trent - It was great meeting you.

Cris - Great hat. I wish you the best in your upcoming endeavors.

Tony - Love that Jeep. Nice snag!

SpideyFett - Sorry I forgot your name. Your daughter is awesome! Keep up the good work with her and don't forget to PM me about the Iron Man mags.

It was great to meet you to Brad. Thanks again for the brochure....it's what kept the JP prop ball rolling after Armando's initial 'Hey I'll trade you this cane for those props' last year.
 
I had a great time! It was good to meet some new friends and see some old ones. Only wish I could have stayed longer.

As always the prop party was a huge success. Thanks to Philip for hosting and Funky for the award winning chili. It was great to see everyone and everything.

Next year cannot come soon enough.

Was cool talking shop and seeing all the peeps. Some really off the charts stuff this year. The tardis was incredible in person. Philip, outstanding work.

The Na'vi bow by Relicmaker was stunningly beautiful.

Jedifyfe, it was awesome to meet you.

Gotta give props to Wayne, KITT was awesome! It was a blast to ride in and drive!!

always gets me motivated to work on my projects.
 
...and a good time, once again, was had by all. :)
What really surprised me was what we don't see behind the scenes. I was there Friday night until 2 am cooking chili and Phillip being the workhorse that he is was right there cleaning and making sure the tardis was ready for his guests. Then he was back there first thing in the morning making sure everything was perfect. He is truly a great host and when it comes to this event his generosity knows no bounds.
Phillip, we always look forward to your annual event and it never disapoints. A simple "thank you" never seems to enough.
Muttley, Jedifyfe, Jango wes, stephen210, KimnChris, James Kenobi...good lord! Too many to mention but everyone that I had the good fortune to speak with made for a wonderful expierience.
We will see you all (and hopefully many more next year...providing Phillip wants us back!)
 
Thanks to Philip and his crew! It was once again a blast and well worth showing up late :cool

no problem- glad you liked it :) It didn't take too long. Not as long as say a full sized Tardis! anyway it was fun and we look forward to being able to visit again in the future :)

The Tardis is amazing! It really came out beautifully!
Especially, seeing it all together and not in a million pieces spread out all over your shop, as I've been seeing for the past couple of months.:lol

It was great to see everyone again, and meet some new members. I can't begin to tell anyone who hasn't been to this party yet, to make the time to come out and also bring your stuff! It's a lot of fun, great people, great props, and great food.
Thanks again to Armando (Funkyjedi) for serving up his championship chili! It was delicious! Also, thanks for the take-home chili as well! Your hard work did not go to waste!!!;):thumbsup
 
I second the comment about the chili. I'm eating a bowl of Armando's "soon-to-be-famous" take home chili right now! :)
