2010 Monolith

It was mentioned on another forum that monolith-building and placement should become an annual ritual. I heard from maybe fifty people from around the world that want to throw together a monolith and leave it somewhere, either (as Crix said) for Clarke's birthday or for New Years itself.

Think any of you guys would want to participate in such a thing?

wow this is awesome and not sure if this idea would work but what about making sure one is placed some where under the geosynchronous orbit of a satellite? you know the whole clarks belt and all?
