1/9 Han Solo + tauntaun kit

Here is my mostly completed 1/9 scale Han + Tauntaun resin kit. I picked this up awhile back on Etsy from StannArts. Per his description this is actually an original sculpt and not a 3d print. The resin cast was terrific and I only had to putty a few areas smooth before gluing all the pieces and priming it. I found the biggest challenge was painting all the various hues of white, grey and brown which was so daunting it took me over a year of working on it off and on to get it to this stage lol.

Anyways here it is, I think I'll gloss up the base so it looks more sleek like ice, and also gloss the Tauntaun's eyes, and maybe a few other minor things. Hope you all enjoy!

Ty! The fur sure was challenging but I'm pretty pleased how it came out. And I just checked, it looks like he's currently sold out of the Han kit, but he gets more in stock all the time, so I'd message him or check back later. It totally looks like it was worth it. It would probably not look as good if the snow wasn't on it. That really sells the deal.

I hope to finish up a few minor additions to it hopefully this weekend, at least to a point where I can cross it off my list. Then into the next project lol
