This was a fun kit to build and I am almost sorry that it is finished.
Thanks for looking and I hope you like it.

That's terrible.

I think you'd better pack it up in a box and send it to me :lol

Seriously though, I think you've done a great job.

Excellent! That came out terrific.
My only critique is that Biggs's mustache is .03 mm too wide. :lol

That looks awesome. I have 3 or 4 old ertl X-wing kits I've been meaning to build for years. Threads like this always inspire me !!

Great job, you should be proud.

That is terribly impressive in such a small scale. With the right photos, that thing would like huge!!!! You've done a spectacular job. :)

Looks fantastic. Nice weathering and attention to detail. The cockpit looks great! I hope mine turns out even half that good!

Makes me want to get one... but then I would be forced to start a 1/48 collection! Nicely done.

Thanks for the kind words guys.:$
I have just ordered another one from HLJ, my friend who is Star Wars mad saw it and wants me to do Red 5 for him. I have been building a collection of 1/72 scale FineMolds fighters and it was nice to work with something larger.
Trying to build up the courage to try tackling a resin kit.

Outstanding, the paintjob really scaled up the model.
It looks bigger then it is. Very effective.

What methods did you use?
Spill the beans!

Thanks for the compliments.
I didn't use any any elaborate methods, salt for the chipped paint and all weathering was done with chalk pastels, sealed with future and given a light wash.
