1/24 scale X-wing Kit??

I know the the V3 is out of production which is a shame but I can understand why. With the EFx model coming out I suppose this might dampen the motivation in producing another kit of this iconic ship for now

However does anybody think that another X-wing SS kit will emerge ever again?

I suppose long after the dust settles following the EFx offering, I'd still love to build a kit version. Just for the record I'm getting the EFx version as well.

I hope the V3 will return. Even better if it became a V4 with that hollow look to the inside of the wings.

The hollow look to the wings could only be possible if i offered an option to have laser cut wing panels included with a kit, they would need to be assembled by the builder. The upper core part of the wing, the part that holds the phantom/saturn v parts could still be cast in resin, especially since it holds the expensive sealab parts on it. this may be more expensive depending on the cost of laser cutting, another cheaper option would be to include printout patterns of the wing that the builder would use to cut the wings themselves.

When the warmer weather returns I also may...big emphasis on may... consider offering just a "starter kit" that would provide some of the rare kit parts for people who are more interested in doing much of the scratchbuilding themselves..

I am one of many, I'm sure, that wanted this kit, but due to financial restrictions missed it entirely. I would welcome a rerelease, Mike.

If one day you do make a version with the hollow wings would you consider offering just the wings as a V3 upgrade? I'd certainly be intersted in a set if you did.
