You've done a beautiful job there guys. Really crisp and detailed work. very impressive.

It looks like it would work as a kit. Is this your intention?

Cheers

Very impressive work. Kits would be cool. And I'd suppose it's possible to make parts at any scale from the files, right?

Thank you very much, We've already tried it as a kit, but we keep getting slammed by haters..... I have all of the model parts, but am very concerned with negative publicity.

Amazing! I just love the way you've thought out each part and problem area to maximum effect. The fantail door section with surounding walls and the little pain-in-the-bum detail parts with the 4 blue light strips comes to mind!

Excellent work!

The 'haters' ? -from what I can see it looks like a very good replica and I would love a 4' Enterprise in my house! - unless people are flaming you due to a technical fault in what you have done so that a kit wouldn't work or have structural integrity etc etc then I can't see what the problem is, other than the usual copyright ones! :)

HOLY SHNIKIES! :confusedYou guys aren't making it into a kit are you?Very incredible work indeed.Did you base it mainly on the original studio miniature,or the PL ki?Did you correct some of the inacuracies that are seen/found on the Polar Lights re-fit?They were minor as I recall.

That's awesome.

Haters are just a bunch of idiots that are jealous of
your incredible talent. I'd love to see this as a kit too.

Don't let them sway you away from considering offering these. There
are more people that would admire this them hate it.

Can't wait to see further updates on a build up of one. :thumbsup

I'm not really sure about the motivation of others. The copyright thing does come to mind and we've tried multiple times to contact the appropriate people at Paraborg about doing a linited edition of the kit, but never seem to get any sort of reply.....???? So, at this point the ship is going to be cast and made into parts for myself and my associate. We tried to get this kit produced through a well know resin vendor, but it virtually sat idle for more than two years until I demanded it back. When it came back to me it was in horrible condition and I've spent the last couple of months reparing it and ordering new parts. As it stands my associate and I have more than five years and five thousand dollars tied up into it.

This ship is based almost entirely off of the TMP Refit. We researched every bit of information available, did thousands of screen-captures, looked at every available references, discarded anything that didn't match up and viewed every picture of the ship that we could find. We went over every detail of the ship multiple times and made several corrections. This was actually made as Turbo CAD file, exported as an .stl and produced through a rapidprototyper that I do busniess with. We made corrections to all of the flaws that are obviously inherant in the PL kit and addressed contruction issues as well. We also had a little help from someone that sent us the TMP DE files. We had little idea that the TMP DE CG model was not accurate to the physical model that was used by Doug Trumbal.

Thank you. We revised every part on this and the breakdown and construction several times.
