1:1 Thor Build - COMPLETED!!!!!!

Thanks for the pics. I will have to figure out a way to make the pants look tighter

I got a good start on the gauntlets today. I removed the pleather that came on them and have started cutting it out in real leather. It makes a HUGE difference.

Should have pics up soon.

I finished the shin guards. I think they look ok now. Once I get new boots I think it will make it look a little better.

Thoughts?

Re: 1:1 Thor Movie Costume (WIP)

CaptainSuperman

First up, I am in awe at the detail of the work. Its awesome!

Have you considered what paint colours you will be using for the armour? I ask this as I made the Thor armour from scratch out of foam and in rushing painting to get it ready for new year got the colours wrong. I was hoping to repaint it, and being from the UK would greatly appreciate any advice!

I'm actually not the one sculpting it. We haven't discussed paint yet, but I'll make sure to get that info in a few weeks when we get to that point.

Thank you sir!

I had seen you had commissioned the build, but did not know if you had thought about paint.

Its what I love about this place, that information shared helps everyone in their builds!

Re: 1:1 Thor Movie Costume (WIP)

sorry brother I thought I was replying to pinhead's accusation. I get this all the time from compeitiors from ebay. Thor is an awesome build to do. I posted a thread showing the arms in plasticene I am actuallhy almost done with it but wanted to post some photos to simply share. I came across this idiots claim. I have built 7 batman costumes 2 ironmen , tron, and several 1:1 scale props full size batmobiles etc... this crap just pisses me off expecially knowing whom it is.

I got the new hammer in. I am excited to put it together however I am a bit disappointed that the resin is too thick to put a light inside.
