Interest 1.1 TFA era Harrison Ford Bust

I agree with Streetjudge. It's a beautiful sculpt but just for comparison, Cyberman sells his Emperor and Maul raw casts for around $250. But it is your sculpture and obviously it's up to you. Can't wait to see one all painted up!

Same goes with me, sorry but I'll have to watch pictures only! I'll still keep this thread close in case you revise your offer!

No one is bashing. He was on the fence of what he thought was the going rate for raw busts. We were just giving examples of what a raw casts usually go for

An amazing looking sculpt. I'm anxious to see one painted up.

Harry's not an easy guy to get right. I've seen many tries on this forum.

Looking forward to seeing a silicone cast!

No, no ones bashing. Warrens right I am on the fence. Points taken all, ill revisit my pricing. Ill have a think.

Jon

Nobody is bashing him Rocketeer. Just trying to help the guy out. He won't sell many at that price. Just a friendly tip from a guy who is pretty familiar with lifesize bust pricing. I'd like to see him have a successful run of these since his sculpt is so amazing. He will make more in the long run if he keeps his price competitive with other sculptors.

I'm in for one - Ford's such a tough likeness and I think you nailed him.

You should tackle Ford circa 1980 - nudge nudge, wink wink! ;)

But, still in for an older Ford! Let us know what you decide with regard to price.

Great work bud!

Thanks guys :)

Slight delay on my new mould. As I said before I am remoulding him to allow for resin rotocasts. I misjudged my materials (D'oh!) and now I cant get anymore thixo until Monday at the earliest :( I really wanted a cast to show this weekend but sadly that wont happen. Slight delay, sorry.

Moulds finished. Am I supprised it took a week longer than I thought?... not really. I'm currently testing its weight on my roto machine as this is the heaviest mould I have cast to date. Wont be long, update soon.

I'm thinking that an "Old Indy" could be another great option for this bust.

I'm no "bust hair expert", but this option would be easier than Han Solo hair...right?

This is very nice work, I would be interested in a baldy depending on price and shipping plus insurance to New Zealand.
