You need custom foam-lined alligator cases to carry the panels around.

You are correct... Several panels have become too delicate just to load in the trailer. We're looking into building a greeblie travel box. It will require a little more set up time, but better to keep all those greeblies safe than have them snapping off during transport.

I spent several hours building a transport shelf for all the panels. This was something I had been wanting to do for quite some time. It can't carry all the panels, but at least this keep the main panels safe, organized and they are NOT piled up against each other in the van/trailer.
Building the shelving units - daylight
Took a little longer than I had hoped - night
I still have a few more shelf units to build, reinforce a few areas... but there she is!
It's not a little shelf unit - 3X5

Totally blown away at how this build is progressing!!! Outstanding work!!!
I've just seen some amazing photos of the space craft models used in the first three Star Wars movies, some with extreme close-ups! And, yes - the MF is there, too! Here's the link for anyone that wants to check it out. Enjoy!

Some late night updates! Daniel, Jake and I are plugging away getting ready for GMX. Jake and I finished up the travel shelf and it's awesome! It's going to make such a difference... ENJOY
Finally rewired the console - she's up and running again!

Jake and I loaded her up to see what we could carry. We had some space left over to build drawers to hold all the delicate greeblies - AFTER GMX.
We're all finishing up the last of the greeblies

Thank you very much and thank you for the continued support. It's our goal that once the project is complete we'll open it up to everybody. That's a LONG way from now...
After GMX we're taking a few weeks to reboot and then hitting the LEDs and a new console! Should be fun!
