Funny, I just checked in because I was watching ESB and noticed that part in the snowspeeder cockpit. I see you have it well in hand.

When I asked whether that size could be ordered... I was chatting with a newbie and he may not have known. He specifically said "No"... After what you said... I'll go to the contractors counter and see if the 4X8 sheets can be special ordered.

Thank you for the kind words. :)

Wavey has been working his magic trying to identify this part. He determined it was a MOD (Ministry of Defense) part. So that begins to narrow it down. The part was used everywhere! :)

Don't even sweat it brother, you got your hands full there. The room is hit or miss, my life gets turned upside down from October to December every year, but I'll be back in full swing soon!

Hey bud! Haven't seen you around in a while!

We missed you and your R2 at adcon this year.

This thread and the people working on the console are just top notch. When the time comes to start up the framework and carpentry, shoot me a PM and I will be more than happy to give some free back breaking labor to the cause! :)

I keep the faith that one day I will get to walk onto your Falcon in my TK getup and search it for rebels... :lol

LOL! How funny is that! I thought the exact same thing - I was the crazy single guy building a spaceship in his house... And that glare off my forehead was blinding! I thought you did a great job! I loved your idea of turning the build into into a "workshop for kids" - GREAT IDEA!

I tried to give several people credit to include Starkiller, Canobi and Canobi Jr. Like you, he taped several of the 3D models. But with only 3 min - he had to cram a lot into very little time.

I think the article turned out great! I would love to see a follow up vid with more footage. I'll be sure to send Matt a message thanking him for his time. He was very gracious and a really good guy. He was so excited at the end of the interview. He asked me to take pics of him at the console. It was a great experience! :)
