Just FYI, I'm convinced the "mystery ceiling handles" from which the dice were hanging are vintage subway grab handles.

I've been along that route a few times, all the way down the line to the early 1960s, but hit the buffers and still no luck. Of course I may have missed something on the map as the grab handle type part is still not found, as far as I know.

The overhead handles in the 1977 Falcon pit are these things. There are a couple of others in the Falcon, one on top of the cannon and one in the top corner of the cargohold above the Navcom desk.

Other ideas include a small chainsaw grip (gardening or medical bonesaw), or something like a manual carburetor lever (if that's even a thing lol). The handle has a folded P-clip attached - and the props department stuck a small blue button or panel light lens on the clip. Something like that.

Update from Sofaking01. He’s been working on reinforcing the frame, adding details to the inner side of the window, creating new pads, and the outer details.
