Hi Gang,

Work kept me late so I didnt have a lot of time to really do anything... BUT... I did get a partial layer of primer on one of the quad panels... I know... not very exciting... I dressed the console with more greeblies and used the Ol Dremel to clean up a part I received in the mail from "G"!

I'll add a little filler and then paint.

As always... I'm hoping this weekend will bear more fruit!

I've decided to cut a hole in the lower instrument panel and use this illuminated display. I'm going to download the Star Wars font and just make up text and funny sayings...

Give me your ideas and I'll add them!

I also want to once again personally thank "J", Canobi's son, for the awesome greeblie's he donated to the MF build!

He suggested I used these parts on the quad laser(s) I'm building so I'll be sure to find a prominent spot in which to display his donations.

Hi K,

You and me both! I'm "hoping" to have a near finished quad - at the very least the body and mounting bracket. The console is VERY close to final. Had I not decided not to use this console as the test bed for lighting, it would probably be 95% complete... The dang throttle housing has me stumped...

I've been chatting with a buddy at work who knows a lot about LEDs, wiring, resistors, etc... I'm setting the bar very high on this build and hope to transfer what I learn to the NEXT console, cockpit panels, etc...

If you got one of 1" paddle switched, I could mould it and make shed loads (if I just copy the top half that will be seen on the console, it'll be cheap too :thumbsup)
