Heres a little sneak preview of the all new eye by CANTOR + NISSEL... A lot of research was done to get this as near as possible to the screen original... its not correctly fixed in yet (theres still a lot of work to do to get everything to sit just right) but anyway heres a little taster

I think its made from some kind of acrylic plastic - definately not glass.

I've been impressed with this project from the start, obviously, but there is something 'off' about the eye(s). It appears the iris is a tad small, but admittedly, it's hard to say for sure based on that pic. Perhaps a pic from farther away would help with the determination. Maybe the eye location adjustment Phil mentioned would also alter my initial observation. Keep going man!!

I see where you're coming from but you're remarking on a WIP (as I mentioned in the caption with the image) so you know that that wasn't the finished article at the time... Since taking that pic I've pushed the eyes out nearer and more flush with the lids (they were quite sunken) and I've closed the lids quite a bit so the iris' sits perfectly with the expression I'm going for with this particular display.

Well heres the most advanced stage so far.... The hands or feet aren't anywhere near completion yet of course but the eyes (albeit intentionally not perfectly lined up - as per the original puppet, I might add) look pretty cool and the new screen used looking weathering
