Heres a little glimpse of the Silicone head as I'm working throw the painting and dressing up of the details.... Just need to get Vadermonkeys excellent cane and C+Ns eyes and we'll have an almost finished display. The paintjob still requires more work but I'm quite pleased with the results so far considering its my very first silicone piece
I've made this in the softest form of silicone that is exactly the same consistency of foam latex

Wonderful! I'd be curious about your painting techniques (I'm assuming airbrush) but what paint, colors and your application process! Thanks!

Its all platgel watered down with white spirits and mixed with paints and applied in thinned down transparent layers by brush. I don't beleave in using airbrushes unless absolutely necessary. Also brushed down a coat of talc to soften the colors and matt it all out a touch

Phil a friend of mine in the prosthetics field swears on sifting/brushing powdered sugar over the paint jobs to matte the surface out. When the rubber cures you can wash the sugar off in the sink. I've never tried it myself. I might have to call him again to get the exact method.
