1/1 Franky Display

Hey Gang,

Here’s a life size torso display that I just finished of the ’31 Monster. This was definitely
a challenge for me since I am used to just doing these 1/1 pieces as a Bust Display.
When my client sent me an old movie still of the Monster, and asked if I could make
a display to match it, I jumped at the chance! ;)

It was a lot of work, but I am really happy with how he came out!

Boris Karloff as the Monster 1931
A 1/1 Resin Cast Bust, sculpted by Howard Senft of Howard S. Studios

I painted the bust in gray scale, and added real hair to add to the over all realism.
My client sent me the arms to add to this project, so I am not exactly sure where
he got them, but man they are super detailed and cool! ;)

Thanks for Looking!

That is beyond incredible Jeff! Outstanding work, you have these grey scale pieces down to a science. That second pic looks as if it jumped off screen. Tremendous work!

This is an amazing Franky-Display!!!
The hands are damn great, absolutly outstanding!!!

Fantastic work.

And of course FANTASTIC pics!!!

It looks great, I like the chosen pose and the paintwork is excellent.

The head and hands combo are the same as I used on my Frankie, a great combination. Sadly, my monster has now left the building and is currently roaming the countryside...

The arms were sculpted by a member here many moons ago, I was informed.

I really didn't think you could out do the multi colored Frank from your Avatar. (still blows me away)

But THIS?

WOW.

THAT is Frankenstein. It should NEVER look any other way. In anything. EVER.

I mean...

WOW!

NAILED it.

Its alive ... it's alive ... ITS ALIVE! :)

I love how you painted the hands. The details are borderline creepy.
