1:1 Arnold from Terminator 2 - Partial Mannequin Display WIP

I tried sending a few yesterday, but the images were just simply too big. Laterthis morning I'll down-size them a bit and convert them to jpeg (grom tiffs) and try to get some over.

Thanks PH. Got the photos through. Absolutely stunning and very helpful to me at this stage. Cleared my inbox now so if you have anymore, I'd be very grateful to ya!

Woke up the next day and decided he looked to pinky. Funny things flesh tones. So I used my Iwata again and got some more realistic colours goin' on.

I have to say, I am quite pleased with him at the moment :)

Here are a few of the new flesh tones.

I do have access to Tamiya paints and will be sponging deep pinks and clear reds onto his wound. Not going to over do it though. Some of those PH statues have the blood running everywhere!! Mine is going to be more...sore than gushing blood. :D

Steve :)

Looking good! I sent some more shots over just now.

On the "blood" go with four parts Clear Red/one part Clear Yellow.

Holy cow!

These are sooo helpful Rob. Thanks so much. I'm at a crucial stage with my Arnie and these shots are the business!!

Inbox emptied. Ready for a few more if you have time. IF not, then thanks for everything you have done so far!

Took some shots of the blood work last night. Will post them later.

Cheers, Steve

Hi guys

Been working on his wound last night. I didn't want to over do it with the blood. I remember in the T2 extras, Jeff Dawn said that it was pointless to coat all that detail in blood - as all the work and sculpt is lost in the process.

This only the first application of blood. Wanted to get that 'RAW' feeling you see when you gash youself.

Next application will be more clear red. Photos have come out a little yellow for some reason?

Cheers, Steve

Hey guys

Been busy with him this week. Finally fixed the details, eyebrow, eye, more blood, fixed the hair etc..

I still feel the hair is a little long, but I'm being very careful as I ruined one wig by cutting it too short - so I'm gonna live with it for a week and see how I feel :)

Looks a little like Tin Tin :D

I hope you eventually include the damage to his chest, but for now I will weather the shirt with dirt and blood as a stop gap.

Check him out! I think you click on the pix with this hosting

Steve

Some outside shots. Nearly done!

There is no way this project could have progressed without the help of PHArchivist! Thanks so much to all that contributed.

All the best! Steve :)

I agree with Allosaur that the exposed Endo needs to be ruffed up a little as he just got his head rammed several times. Look forward to seeing more.

Thanks!

Greg

I in turned had the sage advice of another master! Thanks for the gratitude! And ain't that blood fun to paint!? ;)

Add a bit more blood (but not to much, dirty him down a bit, and stick a fork in him ('cause he's [nearly] done)!

Steve, the Hair looks good. Give him a Trim, Spike the top and you are in Business. You might want to open up the left eye a bit more, he looks sleepy. Overall great job.
