ROTS Anakin bust - burnt.

Firstly, can anyone help to identify who made this bust?

I purchased this bust a few weeks back on Ebay as I wanted a new project but I'd like some opinions about the likeness. It looks to be way off so I think I've got my work cut out. I don't know if it's just me but it doesn't look a lot like him. If there were any alterations to make it look a little more alike him then what would need to be done, i think maybe the nose and eyes.

Any help is appreciated!

Further searches on your props showed this. Apparently sculpted by Ron Rodriquez if anyone has heard of him?

Yeah I thought the same, thought it was just me!

 

[Too Much Garlic]

It's the tall brow and top of the skull, as well as the long jaw. Almost as if the sculpt is stretched vertically, but you can see the Hayden likeness in the painted version.

If the original sculptor had the piece scanned and then compressed the brow and the jaw, a little, then I think the likeness would be much stronger and the Peter Weller feel would be gone.

I think the first painted one there is a likeness 100%. I'm thinking I might be able to modify this but not sure.

Looking at these 2 photos, one of HC on set and another of Dave Elsey's one you are bang on with your statement.
