Jared Leto Joker

Did everyone hear that Jared Leto got quite into his joker mindset on set? He sent the other cast members gifts (apparently they don't interact that much at least in the early stages of shooting...? Bit strange.) such as a love letter in a black box including a live rat, a full hog to the cast, bullets and a letter to will smith etc. Sounds like he is tapping into some method at least. He apparently also sent the cast a video of him in character, in a way of showing them that he was working hard like they are. I'd love to see the footage.
 
These are a few pics from my weekend, things to tweek still but I'm overall happy with the result.

I had a few issues with the tattoo's and with my makeup on the day but nothing I'm too worried about. The Jacket I could taper in a bit, it was cut very 90's and the shoulder holster I didn't wear as it was too bulky under the jacket.

It's PR. There's no way this many photos leak unapproved.

What I'm referencing above wasn't anything to do with leaked photos though? Admittedly, of course it could be a PR stunt - leak this information to this website etc and watch it spread. But it seemed a fairly genuine interview (with Adam Beach who plays Slipknot)
 
I'm talking about all of the released info about SS so far, photos, interviews, this. It's almost entirely about the two characters people know the most, and the film isn't out for a year.

looks pretty good! What did you use for your make up?
 
So in light of the trailer that was released, here is my version of the Leto Joker so far.

I I bought a regular stock Grillz silver set and cut/sanded it down with a Dremel to give the appearance the movie one has. Weathered it up a little and good to go!

Gotta work on my selfie tattoo game and hiding the eyebrows more. ;)

hopefully ill have a version of this done soon, both shirtless and button shirt versions. still need to do a few test runs with makeup, but i have the tattoos done and prepped, need to see if they will set nicely after I do my makeup though, have never used temp tattoos like this before. this started as almost a joke costume, but since I have actually come to be very fond of this joker. pics to follow as soon as everything comes in, I also opted to use foam latex pieces to hide my brows, not a fan of the glue stick method as the texture of the brows still shows through.
 
Lots of people hated the dark knight joker look before they saw the movie and he was the best people are doing the same here i think it will be good
 
did joker for my halloween party, since this was my first full run in makeup I made alot of stupid mistakes, ie scar on wrong side, forgot to flatten my brow before applying the latex piece. so I'm going to tweak it before Halloween where I will be doing it again but I will have a full afternoon to take my time with pieces.
