I'm bummed by what I'm hearing. I was really looking forward to a new Arthur movie. I may go see it anyway, but I'm not a huge fan of the Guy Ritchie style, and was hoping for some rave reviews to talk me into it.
edit: also I have no problem with the idea of some creative liberty. I think Arthur needs some, and it's kind of traditional at this point to change it with each telling. Excalibur, Once and Future King, Mists of Avalon...all were good, and all very different stories.
