Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

This is a great movie. I was laughing in the beginning but cannot control my emmotions in the end. Superb!!

Personally, I never felt the first one was all that great. Everybody loved it like it was the second coming and I often got verbally beat up if I said the least little thing against it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the first one well enough. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. Heck, I even bought it, though on sale.
I just saw the second one. Still "okay" but I liked it less than the first one. (Mostly I felt the over usage of cheap humor spoiled it. Also, I felt the main plot was weak and forced to make it look SOMETHING like it did in the comic book)
The part I'm having trouble with is almost every review (including here) seems to suggest that most liked this one better than the first. If that's true, why did the movie come out three days ago and there have been limited comments and no one has posted to this thread in three days? I remember for the first movie it was bumped like ten times a day and it ran consistently for well over 30 days.
Clearly im missing something. :confused
