R2-D2's Fusion Furnace Battery Charger

hi everyone, just browsing this thread and thought the top piece looks very much like an agitator from a top loading washing machine, its about the right size and looks very similar to ones i used to service back in the 80s

I guess I wasn't really looking at what they actually used in ESB, but more about how I could make it look as similar as possible. The lack of any really clear photos has made it harder, but I plan on just trying to fabricate what I need to make the prop.

I should also state it is more than just a prop for my usage though, as it will be a working charger for an R2 unit... so it needs to also be functional. With that, I will either have to make some concessions or hide some needed controls/displays behind hidden doors.
