Hello everyone,
With the release of new information on the original prop, I've redesigned my Luke V2 model and now will be doing a new run. Here, you can see some comparisons showing how my new 3d model stacks up against the original prop, as well as photos of the prototype that my shop machined for me.

The saber will break down into multiple parts and will be electronics ready. It will have two emitter caps. One for FX and one for display. It will come with an aluminum heatsink and will accept the standard thin wall blade from TCSS.
In either configuration, the emitter will rotate, just like the original prop.

The saber will be machined from 6061 aluminum. Except for the inner blade holder, which will be made from steel for added strength.
Here are some photos of the parts breakdown. The cone knob will be included, although it is not show here.

It will include the "mystery chunk," which will have a knurled top (a feature of the original that those who have examined it have attested to)
It will be your job to get a clamp, lever, and card.
Slothfurnace did a run of cards.

I anticipate that the cost for the saber will remain the same at $250.00 plus shipping.
I will not accept payment until I have all the parts in hand. However, I expect that if you sign up here, you accept that you have made a solid commitment to follow through on your purchase. If you are unsure about your interest, please do not sign up.
I will leave this signup thread open for a week and after that, I will close the list and proceed with the run.
