Thanks! Yeah nerf guns are great prop platforms, they are mostly ABS too so that helps with glueing & painting.Absolutely stunning! I love what you're doing with these. My son has a bunch of Nerf guns and I'm starting to get some ideas about what to do with them.
Thanks! Glad you like em.These are all amazing.
Rub n buff is great for steampunk guns.I have just started in the steampunk style and my daughters got me into it. I have done some very basic types with acrylics.
Cheers! It's a CYMA P698+ bb gun, a cheap & cheerful alternative to the g33 advance that they use in the expanse as the star helix pistol.stunning work!
What is the base of the white-grey one?
A couple of pistols for an upcoming pilot.
Done on a crazy tight budget. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180131/2e9d827600af13e2f0c4434deb591b2f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180131/3f73fb11597a32d49e5771a893b6e00a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180131/eb8c07ae32af2adee00cf70575de785e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180131/1f4badd2c486e67b4a15ef4598b97930.jpg

Thanks! I'm a modelmaker by trade but I don't really get to do that sort of stuff, mostly museum pieces, exhibition & oil industry.Dude! You have the natural skills to be a professional prop builder for feature films!!!
After seeing Adam Savage customise a nerf blaster on tested I thought I'd give it a go. Here's some I've done so far.

Thanks!Beautiful work! I love how you reworked the body of the guns so they don't just look Nerf Guns. Did you use styrene for the first rifle? Again, very nice job.
Nice. That one is definitely my favorite. How long does it take you to complete one? I know it can vary project to project. I tend to start a lot of projects, take a lot of time working on them, and then don't end up finishing them... I'm amazed at how fast some people can work and finish a project. Thanks!
The first one is clad in 3mm acrylic.
